Park Scholarships Names Class of 2024 Finalists

The Park Scholarships Selection Committee has named 112 candidates as finalists for the Class of 2024. This group of outstanding candidates, chosen from 2,136 applicants and nearly 450 semifinalists, will visit NC State's campus Feb. 21-22 for final selection activities. They represent 20 U.S. states and 33 North Carolina counties.

Greenhouse Vegetable Growers Support Plant Sciences Initiative

The North Carolina Greenhouse Vegetable Growers’ Association, which originated in 1972 and whose membership primarily produces fresh tomatoes, has made a gift of $7,000 to the Plant Sciences Initiative. The gift honors NC State’s past support and continued partnership in helping the members improve their operations and meet their challenges.

NC State Students Receive University Arts Awards

Arts NC State recently conferred its annual Performing, Creative and Visual Arts Awards, honoring 13 students for their accomplishments. The awards are made possible with support from the NC State University Foundation, the Suzanne Kennedy-Stoskopf Endowment for Creativity in the Performing Arts and the Roxanne Hicklin Visual Artist Award Endowment.
