Receiving the Textile Military Scholarship didn’t just enhance Garrett Welsh’s NC State experience — it served as a vote of a confidence in his abilities and confirmation that his work in the classroom and as a member of the Naval ROTC hadn’t gone unnoticed. He’ll soon be applying the skills he learned in college to a career in the Navy.

Park Scholarships Announces Class of 2024

The Park Scholarships program at NC State has named 41 students to its class of 2024 – the 25th class of Park Scholars. These students were selected from a pool of more than 2,100 applicants from three countries, 43 states and 96 of North Carolina’s 100 counties on the basis of outstanding achievements and potential in scholarship, leadership, service and character.

Broussard Named as Next Wolfpack Club Leader

Prominent fundraiser Ben Broussard has been hired as the Wolfpack Clubs's new executive director, replacing long-time leader Bobby Purcell, who is retiring after 33 years of service. Broussard most recently has worked at the University of Colorado, overseeing all aspects of the athletics department's fundraising arm, the Buff Club, as assistant vice chancellor of advancement and senior associate athletic director. He also had a successful stint at his alma mater, Louisiana State.
