May 2019 graduate Téa Blumer's time as an art and design student at NC State equipped her for success as an entrepreneur. Her app, iScribble, won top honors in the Arts Venture category at the 2019 Lulu eGames and she will return to NC State as a Miller Fellow.

Reaching for His Dreams

Will Reuther soon will graduate from the College of Design with his master’s in industrial design (ID) with plans to enter a one-year intensive post-baccalaureate pre-med program, followed by medical school. As a recipient of the L. Franklin Bost Industrial Design Fellowship and a teaching assistantship, Reuther feels NC State has prepared him for his next steps.

A Winning Start: College of Design Alum Wins Apprenticeship with Adidas

Alumnus Chris Williams is heading for the West Coast and a footwear design apprenticeship at Adidas after winning one of three spots in a competition against 1,000 other designers in the international Adidas Design Academy competition. Williams, who participated in the Entrepreneurship Initiative while on campus as a College of Design student, will head to Portland, Oregon, this fall.
