Today Is #GivingTuesdayNow

Today is #GivingTuesdayNow, a global day of giving and unity as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19. NC State's Student Emergency Fund addresses this need as our students struggle with income loss or unexpected costs for child care, technology and housing. Throughout the day, check out @NCState on Twitter to hear directly from the students keeping their academic progress on track due to the generosity of our donors.

An Inspiring Spring Break

Every year, more than 20 teams of NC State students, accompanied by faculty and staff, fan out around the world to work with partner organizations and communities on a wide variety of projects. The university’s Alternative Service Break (ASB) program, which got its start in 1999, provides a service-based alternative to the stereotypical ways of spending spring, fall and winter breaks, with groups participating in two dozen domestic and international locations. Scholarship funds support some participants.

The Gift of Opportunity for NC State Students

When Connie Carson arrived at NC State as a first-generation college student, student affairs programs and intramural sports provided her with the community she needed to succeed. Through a generous planned gift and annual giving contributions to establish the Connie L. Carson Student Experience Fund and further strengthen the Wolfpack Club's Student-Athlete Engagement And Leadership Fund, Carson is ensuring future first-year students find their place in the Pack.
