Risks Can Be Leveraged as Opportunities in the Post-COVID ‘New Normal’

Mark Beasley, director of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Initiative and KPMG professor of accounting, and Frank Buckless, Stephen P. Zelnak Jr. Dean of Poole College, hosted the inaugural Virtual Thought Leadership Series event, Strategies of the New Normal: Lessons from Risk Management. The discussion took a look at the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and how companies can implement ERM processes into their business plans to navigate huge volumes of risks as they look toward a post-pandemic world.

As the newest member of NC State's Global Luxury and Management (GLAM) Industry Advisory Board, Pascale Meyran brings decades of international experience as a human resources professional linked to luxury brands including Michael Kors, Jimmy Choo and Versace. Poole College Welcomes Brian Clark as the New Executive Director of Development and External Relations

Poole College of Management has named Brian Clark as its executive director of development and external relations. Clark will work with the college dean and the assistant vice chancellor of university development to plan, direct and implement fundraising goals and major gift programs, among other focuses. Clark, an alumnus of NC State and former professional football player, was most recently director of major gifts at the Wolfpack Club.

41 Participants Complete the Executive Farm Management Program

2020 marked the third year of this program offered by NC State’s Cooperative Extension and the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
