Leaving a Legacy: Dylan Inman ’22 Makes a Lasting Impression

The political science and sociology double major is graduating this weekend and then off to Indianapolis to work for his fraternity, Theta Chi, as a growth specialist. But as an enthusiastic member of the Wolfpack, Inman says his long-term goal is to find a road that leads back to NC State.

During Red and White Week, student groups across campus faced off in a friendly competition to benefit this year’s featured fund: Feed the Pack, the food pantry at NC State. The groups raised just under $24,000.

Unforgettable Legacy: The Samantha Lin Memorial Scholarship

CVM students, faculty and staff will never forget Samantha Lin, a member of the class of 2020 who died in a traffic accident last August. Through the generosity of alumni, faculty and staff, students, friends of the college, North Carolina Veterinary Medical Foundation board members and fellow members of the class of 2020, the college has created the endowed Samantha Lin Memorial Scholarship. It will support fourth-year DVM students interested in surgery, research and teaching .

NC State Dining Offers Students an Opportunity to Donate Guest Meals to Help Classmates

For the second year in a row, students can donate their extra guest swipes starting December 2 to the Pack Meal Share program. The donated swipes are redistributed to students who are experiencing food insecurities. Almost 1500 swipes have been redistributed this fall and last spring semester from previous donations. This semester’s goal is to reach 1500 donated guest swipes. Students can donate swipes until the goal is met or until Dec. 22.
