Connor Gary, Martina Gonzalez Bertello and Abby Lewis were recently selected as the 2021 recipients of the Visual Artist Awards, part of the annual Arts NC State Student Art Sale. The awards are made possible by the Roxanne Hicklin Visual Artist Award Endowment.

In March of this year, the College of Sciences announced the creation of a new Diversity Program Endowment that will meet a critical need for permanent funding for diversity initiatives. The endowment will support recruitment, professional development and student activities, and interested donors can contribute to ongoing fundraising efforts.

COVID-19’s Unique Impacts on Survivors of Interpersonal Violence

Survivors of interpersonal violence are experiencing unique impacts of COVID-19. The Women’s Center at NC State has seen a rise in students seeking support from trained advocates as well as significantly more applications to the Survivor Fund, which can cover related expenses, such as medical care, counseling, legal assistance, loss of employment, transportation, relocation and/or safety upgrades to housing. Gifts to the Survivor Fund help meet this increased and ongoing need.
