Mahone to Lead NC State Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving

A higher education professional with a track record of success, innovation and inclusion, Reshunda Mahone will join NC State in August as the new associate vice chancellor for alumni engagement and annual giving. In a higher education career spanning more than two decades, Mahone has continually exceeded goals — and expectations — by increasing alumni engagement, overall giving and efficiency at each of her previous institutions. She currently serves as assistant dean for advancement and alumni engagement for the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.

Sisterhood Celebration Provides Reflections on ‘Normal Never Was’

This year’s NC State Sisterhood Celebration brought together nearly 250 members of the campus community to celebrate the achievements of women while acknowledging the challenges and hardships of the past year. The celebration, with a theme based on the writings of poet, activist and author Sonya Renee Taylor, was sponsored by the Council on the Status of Women and the Women’s Center. Learn more about the event and the Equity Award for Women nominees, which included University Advancement’s Christina Walker. Walker was recognized for her work leading the establishment of the Wolfpack Women in Philanthropy.
