New Community College Partnerships Provide Opportunity for Students and Industry

Two new partnerships will establish a pipeline between one of the United States’ hubs for textile manufacturing and the institution that trains the industry’s top talent. Students dually enrolled through the C3 program will be eligible for NC State scholarships, and many will be eligible for a $14,000 Textile Pioneer Scholarship.

Athletics Adds Sustainability Intern, Events

NC State Athletics recently hired its first athletics sustainability intern: Claire Henson, a senior in the Wilson College of Textiles majoring in textile engineering and minoring in environmental science. In addition to being the athletics sustainability intern, Henson is an Engineering Ambassador, NC State Steward and Wilson College of Textiles Centennial Scholar.
